Notes

The Brown Album achieved Gold on the Canadian sales charts. It also charted very well in the United Kingdom, mainly Britain.

A limited first edition of this album was also released through Vertigo, also in 1990 and only in Canada. This is the version that The Brown Album was originally released as, and then was restocked with the edition that is now commonly available. It contains the following differences:
"Let's Eat Out": The horn sample that follows "...And a tasty way to do it" aren't present. The backing beat is stripped down and muted in comparison to the standard version.
"Everyone's A Winner" is a totally different song. The talking bassline, the horns, and the clapping beat is gone. Drew Ling's vocals are much rougher and more punk-sounding. The backing beat now uses a sample of someone sniffing. It feels stripped-down and less-produced, just like "Let's Eat Out".
There is also an extra track called "Scratching the Dub". It's a dance remix of "Scratching the Whole", now faster and with extra effects, and missing the "[...] looking for you" sample between verses.
