Hold Tight

Written by Bootsauce, from Bull, 1992

(Group) Hold tight! You're on your knees!
Hai-yaah!

I've got a life, you wanna dream
Sometimes you might, if you're lucky
It's my life, hold tight
I'll take it faster, don't waste my time
If you're thinking, (weird squeal) buster!

Hold tight, you're on your knees
You did the nasty then you blamed it on me
Hold fast and understand
You blew your preaching, wanna give me a hand?

Ragtime, you like to steal
Sometimes, but mummy won't let me
No pack of lies
Don't show your hand
There's only some things you'll understand

Hold tight, you're on your knees
You did the nasty then you blamed it on me
Hold fast and understand
You blew your preaching, wanna give me a hand?
Hold tight! Hold fast! Hold it!

Friends like it slowly...slowly
Dreaming for you
Stuck in my head, I'm begging (I'm stuck)
Dreaming out loud for you

You got a life, you wanna dream
Sometimes don't waste if it's okay
You've got it right, forget your dreams
I'll do you right, don't waste my schemes

Hold tight, you're on your knees
You did the nasty then you blamed it on me
Hold fast and understand
You blew your preaching, wanna give me a hand?

Hold tight! Hold fast! Hold it!
(Sample A: You're doing it fucking wrong!)

(Grunge solo begins)
(Sample B: (Ling) You don't wanna touch the door now?
(Lemmy) Uh-huh.
(Ling) That perfect for you?
(Fume) [at Ling] Yeah, and you're not.
(Lemmy) Okay. [Ling laughs] I was there, you know.
(Ling) [laughs] I know you were there!
(Lemmy) For the first time, it was really psychedelic.
(Ling) You were there in the first place.
(Phil Greene) Well, that's great.
(Ling) It's better, it's better than the middle bit there. It's not a double-end thing, it's a...

The Last Noel

(Sample B: [answering machine beep]
Hi, leave a message right after the tone. And what else we got...? I'm gonna kill you! I am going to kill you exactly like in the movies. Just like, uh, put my knees on your knees, and make you fall down, and go on top of you. And, uh...what do I do, uh...I'm gonna kill you, I'm gonna cut you again, heh, you! You know, I'm laying in my bed, and I think about Alan Baculis coming to my house to kill me, and I was shivering, and I was like, hud-hud-huddling, and you...you, you were not gonna be able to take me today, you dig it? And, I guess this might go, uh...uh...um...the energy, the--
[cutoff beep]
--And every time I go up to my boyfriend's, he finishes a king, you know? You change the orgasm, and I'm there, uh, "Next!" you know? It was nice.)

The mystery woman from The 13th Psalm returns. As she rants, a morose rendering of "The First Noel" on piano plays.

At 19:55, right before the end of the track, there's one more sample. The audio is reversed; it's Groucho Marx, AKA Sample A from "The 13th Psalm", bookending one more strange interlude.
